Multidisciplinary experimentation
Our experimental facilities possess a specific know-how for animal production and phenotyping
The main goal of these units is to conduct experimentation programs, often multidisciplinary, with the objective of identifying the genetic determinism of traits.
They make it possible to construct the desired genetic structures (F1, F2 BC, familles…), to control the environment and measure complex traits. They also provide very reliable data, that are somewhat less dependent on economic constraints.
